Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks in a manufacturing setup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, cost tracking, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update day-to-day financial transactions in Tally or ERP system.

  • Prepare and analyze manufacturing cost sheets and product costing.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.

  • Monitor inventory movements and reconcile stock records with accounts.

  • Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances and returns filing.

  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

  • Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements.

  • Support payroll accounting and employee reimbursement processes.

  • Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding financial queries.


Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.

  • Experience in cost accounting or product costing in manufacturing.

  • Proficient in Tally ERP / SAP / any ERP system.

  • Excellent MS Excel skills.

  • Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


Preferred:

  • Experience working in an FMCG, pharma, automotive, or electronics manufacturing environment.

  • Exposure to ISO, audit, and compliance documentation processes.
