Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts & Office Assistant to support the Accounts Department in daily accounting operations, banking activities, and administrative tasks. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, handling documentation, coordinating bank-related work, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally.
Prepare and update purchase, sales, payment, and receipt vouchers.
Assist in invoice preparation and documentation.
Maintain cash, bank, and ledger records.
Visit banks for cheque deposits, collections, account-related documentation, and other official banking work.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain financial records.
Organize, file, scan, and maintain accounts-related documents.
Coordinate with internal departments for document collection and submission.
Assist in GST and other statutory documentation.
Support senior accounts personnel in day-to-day accounting and administrative activities.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of GST
Working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime
Good knowledge of MS Excel
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Basic knowledge of banking procedures
Ability to travel locally for official bank and office work
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Honest, responsible, and willing to learn
