Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Associate to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience with Tally and GST, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally Prime/ERP.

• Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase entries, debit/credit notes, and payment vouchers.

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

• Perform bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations.

• Prepare GST working and assist in GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).

• Handle TDS deductions, reconciliation, and return preparation.

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and customers for financial matters.

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, cash flow reports, and outstanding receivable reports.

• Track customer payments and follow up for overdue collections.

• Process employee reimbursements and maintain expense records.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and company financial policies.

• Support management with financial data, reports, and analysis as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (BCom) or equivalent.

• MCom or CA Inter (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience

• 2-5years of experience in Accounting or Finance.

• Experience in an IT, Technology, AV Integration, or System Integration company will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Zoho Books.

• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic Income Tax provisions.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).

• Familiarity with ERP software is preferred.

• Basic understanding of payroll processing is an advantage.
