Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with hands-on experience in Tally and basic understanding of finalisation of accounts. The candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations and assist in financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain books of accounts in Tally ERP / Tally Prime
Pass journal entries, sales, purchase, receipt, and payment entries
Bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny
Assist in finalisation of accounts (Balance Sheet, P&L, etc.)
Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, and vouchers
Handle GST data preparation and basic compliance support
Coordinate with auditors for audit requirements
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Assist in monthly and yearly closing processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
1–3 years of experience in accounting
Good knowledge of Tally (ERP/Prime)
Understanding of accounting principles and finalisation process
Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and taxation
Proficiency in MS Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills:
Experience in handling audits
Knowledge of compliance and statutory requirements
Good communication and coordination skills
