Job Role: Accounts assistant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Accounts Assistant with at least 2 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling tax-related filings, and assisting in audits and financial reporting. This role requires good knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ensure data accuracy.

• Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-2, and GSTR-3 returns accurately and on time.

• Assist in filing ITR (Income Tax Returns) and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

• Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) applications, claims, and reconciliations.

• Support internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is in order.

• Prepare basic financial reports and assist the senior accountant or finance manager in financial analysis.

• Manage vendor payments, invoices, and bank reconciliations.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar finance role.

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com or equivalent).

• Strong knowledge of GST, ITR, and TDS filing processes.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.

• Good communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.
