We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support the finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining books of accounts and financial records
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks
Reconcile bank statements and monitor transactions
Prepare and update financial reports and spreadsheets
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial data
Assist with audits and compliance requirements
Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for financial queries
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Preferred Skills
Prior experience in a similar role (1–2 years)
Familiarity with GST, tax filings, or local compliance (if applicable)
