We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant who has good knowledge of accounting principles, inventory management, and hands-on experience in Busy Accounting Software. The candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations and coordinate with internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Busy Software
Handle purchase, sales, journal, and payment entries
Assist in preparation of GST returns and compliance (basic knowledge required)
Maintain and reconcile accounts, ledgers, and bank statements
Manage inventory records including raw materials, trims, and finished goods
Coordinate with the inventory/warehouse team for stock updates
Assist in billing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups
Support in monthly and yearly closing activities
Maintain proper documentation and filing of records
Coordinate with senior accounts team for reporting and audits
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Working knowledge of Busy Accounting Software (mandatory)
Understanding of inventory management
Good knowledge of MS Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
