Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, expense reports, and payroll records.
Data Entry and Bookkeeping: Enter financial transactions into accounting software or spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail.
Assist in Month-End Closing: Support the accountant in preparing month-end and year-end financial reports and reconciliations.
Invoice Processing: Process and track invoices from vendors and clients, ensuring timely payments and receipts.
Bank Reconciliations: Assist in reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flow.
Expense Management: Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Assist with Audits: Prepare documentation and assist during internal and external audits as needed.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, such as answering phones, responding to emails, filing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
Qualifications:
Education: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
Experience: Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is advantageous. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally) is a plus.
