Job Description

Role Overview

The Accounts Assistant & Admin will support day-to-day accounting activities along with office administration and coordination. This role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

-Accounts & Finance Support

  • Preparing and verifying invoices, bills, and vouchers

  • Maintaining expense statements and supporting cost control

  • Recording day-to-day transactions and updating accounting records (Excel / accounting software)

  • Assisting with vendor payments, reimbursements, and basic reconciliations

  • Supporting GST-related documentation and coordination with the accountant

  • Maintaining proper financial records and filing for audits and compliance

-Administrative & Office Support

  • Managing office administration and daily operations

  • Coordinating with vendors for office supplies and services

  • Handling courier coordination, dispatches, and inward/outward registers

  • Managing travel arrangements, accommodation, and reimbursements

  • Maintaining employee records, files, and official documentation

  • Coordinating with external agencies such as banks, courier partners, and service providers

Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of accounting principles

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office

  • Good organizational and time-management skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

  • Clear communication and coordination skills

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field

  • 1–2 years of experience in accounts or administrative roles

  • Experience with accounting software (Tally ERP)

  • Willingness to learn and adapt

  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask

  • Professional attitude and reliability
