As an Accounts Executive, the individual is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, supporting accurate financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. Key responsibilities include:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
Prepare invoices, bills, and payment vouchers
Reconcile bank statements and ledger entries regularly
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
Maintain petty cash and monitor expense records
Process reimbursements and employee expense claims
File GST, TDS, and other statutory returns on time
Support internal and external audit processes
Ensure compliance with tax laws and company policies
Help prepare financial reports and MIS as required
Maintain vendor and customer ledger accounts
Process employee salaries and handle statutory deductions
Enter and update accounting data in Tally or ERP software
Coordinate with banks, clients, and vendors for account-related queries
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
Assist senior accountants and finance managers with financial operations
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data and reports
Support inventory and fixed asset accounting
Stay updated with applicable financial regulations and accounting practices
