Accounts And Finance Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee - Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone beginning their accounting career who is eager to learn, develop professional skills, and work towards an accounting qualification. The successful candidate will support the finance department with daily tasks while gaining hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

●      Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

●      Process invoices, receipts, payments, and perform general bookkeeping duties.

●     Support the month-end and year-end close processes.

●      Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and customer accounts.

●      Maintain accurate financial records and ensure they comply with company policies.

●      Help prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.

●      Assist in maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.

●      Respond to finance-related queries from internal teams and external stakeholders.

●      Work with senior accountants to support audits and compliance tasks.

●      Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.

Eligibility Criteria:

●      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field 

●      A-level qualifications in relevant subjects such as Maths, Business Studies, or Economics.

●      GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.

●      Studying or intending to study a professional accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or ICAEW is highly desirable.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
