Job Description

Position: Accounts Executive

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer

Qualification: B Com/M Com must know tally

Location: Jamshedpur. Relocate or a Local resource preferred

CTC- 3 Lakh to 5 lakh

Role Objective

To manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, support project-wise accounting, ensure timely reporting, and assist in compliance and financial control activities of the real estate company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Accounting Operations

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in ERP/Tally/software.
Record:
Sales invoices
Expenses
Receipts & payments
Journal entries
Maintain proper documentation and supporting records.
Ensure accuracy of accounting transactions.

2. GST Compliance & Return Filing Support

Maintain GST-related purchase and sales records.
Verify GST invoices and ensure proper GST compliance.
Prepare data for monthly/quarterly GST returns:
GSTR-1
GSTR-3B
Reconcile purchase invoices with GST portal data (2B reconciliation).
Track input tax credit (ITC) eligibility.
Maintain GST payment records.
Coordinate with CA/tax consultants for GST filing and notices.
Maintain GST documents and records for audit purposes.

2. TDS Compliance

Calculate TDS deductions as per applicable sections.
Deduct TDS on:
Vendor payments
Contractor payments
Professional fees
Rent payments
Employee payments (if applicable)
Prepare and file TDS returns.
Generate TDS certificates (Form 16/16A).
Maintain TDS payment challans and records.
Reconcile TDS entries with books of accounts.
Have knowledge for PF & ESI contribution
