The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in audits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in ERP/Tally/SAP.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Manage petty cash and daily expenses.
Prepare vouchers, invoices, debit/credit notes, and payment entries.
Handle bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
Monitor cash flow and maintain cash/bank records.
Process online payments, NEFT/RTGS, and cheque entries.
Assist in GST return preparation (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconciliation.
Support TDS deduction, challan preparation, and filing.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports.
Maintain ledgers, balance sheets, and P&L statements.
Support in budgeting and variance analysis.
Coordinate with vendors for bills, payments, and reconciliation.
Follow up with customers for outstanding payments.
Resolve discrepancies in invoices or statements.
Assist in internal and statutory audits.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Support auditors with required data and reports.
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or related qualification.
1–5 years of experience in accounting (depends on level).
Experience in Tally/ERP/SAP preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
