Position: Accountant Executive

Job Summary
We are looking for an Accountant Executive with practical experience in accounting and preferably prior experience working in a Chartered Accountant/Audit Office. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting activities, supporting statutory compliance, and assisting with audit-related work.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Record purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries, and other accounting transactions.
Prepare and maintain ledgers, cash books, bank books, and account statements.
Perform bank and ledger reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Prepare invoices, payment records, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for audit purposes.
Assist auditors/CA in preparing audit schedules and providing required information.
Verify accounting entries and supporting documents for accuracy.
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related activities.
Support preparation and filing of GST/TDS returns under the guidance of the Accounts Head/CA.
Assist in maintaining client accounts and resolving accounting discrepancies.
Review and verify customer/vendor account balances.
Ensure timely updating and maintenance of accounting records.
Coordinate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and auditors whenever required.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
Perform other accounting and audit-related duties assigned by management.
Preferred Skills
Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Practical experience in a CA/Audit Office will be an advantage.
Knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP accounting software.
Basic to good knowledge of GST and TDS.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Ability to perform bank and ledger reconciliation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good documentation and record-maintenance skills.
Ability to identify and rectify accounting errors.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
Candidates with CA-office/audit-firm experience will be preferred.
Experience
Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in accounting, CA firms, audit offices, or finance departments are preferred.
