Job Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing and maintaining financial statements such as Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations including GST and TDS, and handling software tools like Tally and Zoho Books for financial record keeping and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions using Tally and Zoho Books.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss accounts, and cash flow statements.

• Prepare, file, and ensure compliance with GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and TDS returns.

• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, and perform regular bank reconciliations.

• Process and manage TDS deduction, calculation, and filing as per statutory requirements.

• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and expense control monitoring.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and audits.

• Maintain general ledger entries with timely and accurate postings.

• Ensure adherence to Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.

• Prepare tax payments and monitor compliance with all statutory requirements.

• Maintain documentation for internal and external audits.

• Provide financial analysis and reporting to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proven experience as Accountant or Finance Executive with 2-6 years of relevant work.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Tally ERP (Tally Prime preferred) and Zoho Books.

• Thorough understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Skills:

• Tally ERP (Tally Prime or similar)

• Zoho Books (or similar accounting software)

• Preparation and filing of GST Returns and TDS Returns

• Balance Sheet and Financial Statement preparation

• Account reconciliation and ledger maintenance

• Tax compliance and statutory filings

• Budgeting and financial forecasting

• Excellent MS Excel skills
