Job Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing data entry of accounting transactions, assisting in financial reporting, managing daily cash flow, and supporting the finance department in day-to-day operations to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely financial management of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Data Entry and Record Keeping

• Enter day-to-day financial transactions including journal entries, receipts, payments, and adjustments.

• Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documentation in both soft and hard copies.

• Ensure all financial data is accurately entered into the accounting software (e.g., Tally/ERP).

Cash and Bank Management

• Prepare daily cash and bank reconciliation statements.

• Monitor petty cash transactions and maintain proper records.

• Ensure timely deposit of collections and accurate tracking of bank payments.

Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.

• Support the finance manager in budget tracking and variance analysis.

• Prepare reports on accounts payable, receivable, and outstanding balances.

Compliance and Audit Support

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, and other tax deductions.

• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary records and explanations during audits.

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all financial data.

Coordination and Administrative Support

• Collaborate with other departments for invoice verification, payments, and expense tracking.

• Support procurement and HR departments for financial documentation related to payroll, vendor payments, and reimbursements.

Job Requirements:

A perfect candidate for this role should have a keen eye for numerical accuracy. The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 1 - 6+ years of experience. Applicants must have knowledge about accounting and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

Educational Qualification:

BCom / MCom / BBA (Finance) or equivalent degree from a recognized university.

Preferred: Certification or working knowledge in Tally ERP, Excel, or other accounting software

Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Finance & Accounts department in any Hospital.

Familiarity with NABH standards and hospital management systems (HIS, EMR, etc.)

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 1 - 6+ years Experience.
