Sales Accountant – Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and issue sales invoices to customers accurately and on time.
2. Maintain records of sales transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP).
3. Track accounts receivable and follow up with clients for outstanding payments.
4. Reconcile sales data with financial records and resolve discrepancies.
5. Generate daily/weekly/monthly sales reports for management review.
6. Monitor GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes related to sales and ensure compliance.
7. Coordinate with the sales and logistics team for invoice and delivery accuracy.
8. Assist in preparing financial statements related to revenue and sales.
9. Respond to customer queries related to billing and payment issues.
10. Ensure timely entry of credit notes, debit notes, and discounts as per policy.
