Job Description – Accounts & Finance Executive
Department: Finance & Accounts
Job Purpose
The Accounts & Finance Executive will be responsible for handling balance sheet support, GST and TDS compliance, project billing, project accounting, and client follow-up for collections, ensuring accurate financial records and timely cash inflows.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Balance Sheet Support
· Maintain accurate books of accounts and accounting records
· Assist in preparation and finalization of Balance Sheet and P&L
· Ledger scrutiny, journal entries, and reconciliations
· Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
GST & TDS Compliance
· Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
· Ensure correct GST application on project billing and expenses
· Calculation, deduction, and filing of TDS returns
· GST and TDS reconciliation and handling notices, if any
Project Billing & Project Accounting
· Preparation of project-wise invoices as per contract milestones
· Maintain project-wise cost, revenue, and profitability records
· Coordinate with project and sales teams for billing approvals
· Ensure correct allocation of costs and revenues to projects
Client Follow-up & Collections
· Monitor client receivables and ageing reports
· Regular follow-up with clients for timely payment collections
· Resolve billing and payment-related queries with internal teams
· Update collection status and cash flow reports

Qualifications
· B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
· CA Inter / CMA Inter – Preferred
Experience
2–4 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in a project-based or manufacturing environment.
Technical & Soft Skills
· Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems
· Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, and project accounting
· Strong MS Excel skills
· Good communication and follow-up skills
· High attention to detail and deadline-oriented approach
