Senior Accountant – Job Description

For AMVI EYEWEAR⁠�

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing accounts operations, supervising 2–3 junior accountants, and ensuring smooth financial management of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle complete accounting operations of the company

Manage and supervise 2–3 junior accountants

Maintain purchase, sales, GST, and banking records

Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS

Handle GST filing, TDS, and compliance work

Monitor outstanding payments and receivables

Coordinate with CA and auditors when required

Ensure proper bookkeeping and accounting accuracy

Manage inventory/account reconciliation

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation

Experience in GST, TDS, and financial reporting

Leadership and team-handling capability

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years experience in Accounts & Finance

Experience in handling a team is preferred

Qualification:

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred

Location:

Kolkata, West Bengal
