Job Summary
A Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supervising junior accounting staff. The role requires strong analytical skills and accuracy in financial management.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
Manage general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance are completed on time.
Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare financial reports for management review.
Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
Supervise and guide junior accountants and accounting staff.
Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting
Experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Compliance
Proficiency in Tally, ERP, Excel, and Accounting Software
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and leadership skills
