Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent command over Microsoft Excel, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries.

  • Ensure accuracy in accounts payable, receivable, and expense tracking.

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports.

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Generate financial statements and support in audits.

  • Work extensively on Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting, and data analysis).

  • Handle TDS & TCS calculations, returns filing, and reconciliation.

  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) accurately and on time.

  • Ensure compliance with GST laws, Income Tax provisions, and other statutory regulations.

  • Assist in preparation of Income Tax returns and related compliances.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors for smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accountant (minimum [1 years]).

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

  • Hands-on experience with TDS, TCS, GST, and Income Tax compliances.

  • Excellent Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data validation, automation preferred).

  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and processes.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Immediate joiners preferred.
