Job Description

Job Summary

Infocus Security Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, billing, and financial reporting. The role requires hands-on experience in Zoho Books, GST compliance, and coordination with sales, service, and management teams.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain accurate day-to-day accounts using Zoho Books.

Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.

Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.

Billing & Invoicing

Prepare sales invoices, service invoices, and credit notes.

Track receivables and follow up for outstanding payments.

Coordinate with sales and service teams for billing accuracy.

GST & Statutory Compliance

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) on time.

Reconcile GST data with books and GST portal.

Maintain proper documentation for audits and assessments.

Vendor & Inventory Accounting

Process purchase bills and vendor payments.

Maintain vendor ledger and resolve discrepancies.

Support inventory accounting related to lockers, CCTV, and security products.

Payroll & Expenses

Assist in salary processing and staff incentives.

Verify employee expense claims and reimbursements.

Reporting & Coordination

Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS.

Support CA during audits, returns, and compliance filings.

Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) / equivalent qualification.

Minimum 2–4 years experience in accounting.

Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books (mandatory).

Practical experience in GST filing and compliance.

Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting controls.

Personal Attributes

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Self-driven and capable of working independently.
