Accountant (Part -Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure statutory compliance, and support financial reporting. The role is ideal for someone who can independently handle accounts for a small manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts (Sales, Purchase, Journal, Cash & Bank entries)

• Handle GST compliance:

  • GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)

  • Reconciliation with GSTR-2B

• Prepare and reconcile Bank Statements

• Maintain Debtors, Creditors, and Aging Reports

• Handle TDS:

  • Deduction, payment, and return filing

• Assist in monthly MIS reports

• Coordinate with Chartered Accountant for:

  • Finalization of accounts

  • Audit requirements

  • Income Tax filings

• Maintain inventory accounting (manufacturing stock statements)

• Ensure compliance with statutory timelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance

• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Proficiency in Tally / Accounting Software

• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic Income Tax

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or MSME sector

• Prior experience working with CA firms or audits
