Accountant

Job Description – Executive (Finance) (Manufacturing work experience is a must)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with 3 to 5 yrs of work experience, to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accuracy and effectiveness across all accounting tasks, assisting in the finalization of accounts, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This role requires strong knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, banking transactions, and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounting activities and records specially for Shipping Bills and Export documents.

• Maintain and oversee financial accounting, TDS, customs duty, and banking transactions.

• Assist with the finalization of accounts in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

• Prepare, examine, and analyze:

  • Accounting records

  • Financial statements

  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable

• Perform vendor ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare and verify bank and cash reconciliations, pending entries, and ledger postings.

• Manage and execute banking operations including RTGS/NEFT payments, deposits, and tax-related online payments (TDS, Income Tax, etc.).

• Prepare reports, returns specially TDS, and reconciliations; review and validate them against the books of accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven work experience as a Accountant or in a similar role.

• Strong practical knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, and banking transactions.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with vendors, auditors, and internal teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with custom duty and compliance-related filings.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience.
