Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, process transactions, and support the organization in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records.
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage petty cash and monitor daily cash transactions.
- Track outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely payments.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents.
- Verify expenses, bills, and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Support payroll-related accounting activities when required.
- Identify discrepancies in accounts and resolve them promptly.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with accounting software/ERP systems.
- Knowledge of GST filing and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of payroll accounting.
- Ability to prepare MIS reports.
- Good understanding of statutory compliance.
