Accountant

💰 Accountant - Full-Time, Onsite

Vinayak Enterprises is looking for an experienced and meticulous Accountant to join our finance team in Jhilmil, New Delhi. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of dedicated accounting experience, with strong proficiency in Tally and comprehensive knowledge of other modern accounting tools and principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and Ledger Management:

  • Manage and maintain accurate day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording data in the general ledger.

  • Handle bank and ledger reconciliation promptly and accurately.

• Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

  • Assist in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Taxes and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and central government reporting requirements and tax filings (GST, TDS, etc.).

  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Invoicing and Payables/Receivables:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and collection from customers.

  • Generate and manage sales invoices accurately.

• Tool Proficiency:

  • Utilize Tally ERP/Prime extensively for all accounting operations, data entry, report generation, and inventory management (if applicable).

  • Adapt quickly to other accounting software or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems used by the company.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 4 to 5 years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) is required; post-graduate qualifications (M.Com, CA Inter, etc.) are a plus.

• Software Expertise: Must have expert-level proficiency in Tally ERP/Prime. Familiarity with other accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is essential.

• Knowledge: Deep understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/Ind AS), financial regulations, and taxation (GST, TDS).

• Attention to Detail: Proven ability to handle large volumes of data with high accuracy and maintain organized financial records.

• Location & Type: This is a Full-Time, Onsite position at our office in Jhilmil, New Delhi.
