Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, taxation, invoicing, and financial records. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally Prime, GST filing, TDS returns, invoice generation, and bank reconciliation, along with a strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily accounting transactions and financial records using Tally Prime.
- Generate sales invoices, purchase invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and quarterly TDS return filing.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain purchase, sales, expense, and journal entries.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of bills, vouchers, invoices, and other financial records.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, auditors, and internal teams regarding accounting matters.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
- Mandatory knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Practical experience in GST return filing and reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of TDS calculations and return filing.
- Experience in invoice generation and accounting entries.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage accounting activities independently.
