Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong understanding of Tally, GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B), and TDS calculations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, ensuring compliance with GST and TDS regulations, and preparing monthly financial reports with zero errors. The candidate must also be proficient in online banking and financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records using Tally software.

• Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B accurately and timely.

• Handle TDS calculations and file quarterly and annual returns.

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable tax regulations.

• Prepare monthly balance sheets and other financial statements.

• Manage online banking transactions, including payments, fund transfers, and reconciliations.

• Ensure zero mistakes in all accounting tasks and financial reports.

• Assist with financial audits and ensure all necessary documentation is available.

• Collaborate with the finance team for monthly and annual closing procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Tally software.

• In-depth knowledge of GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing.

• Strong experience in TDS calculation and filing quarterly and annual returns.

• High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in online banking and financial transactions.

• Ability to produce accurate financial statements and reports with zero errors.
