1. Assisting in Book keeping:
o Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the company’s statutory books of accounts, ensuring all financial records are updated regularly.
2. TDS / TDS Returns:
o Support in the computation and payment of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all TDS transactions.
o Assist in the preparation of Form-16, Form-16A, and TDS returns for both salary and non-salary payments.
o Help in verifying TDS deductions on salary, contractor, advertisement, professional, and rent payments and ensure timely deposit as per the Income Tax Act, 1961.
General Ledger Reconciliation:
o Assist in monthly general ledger reconciliation, including bank and credit card accounts, and ensure that all accounting records are complete and accurate.
4. GST Compliance:
o Support the filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns such as GSTR-3B and GSTR-1 and assist in the preparation of GST reconciliations.
5. Banking & Finance
o Maintaining Bank Book in Tally, and updating of various expense ledgers
o Assisting Company Directors with all banking related matter and maintaining banking details/statements/correspondence
o Payment of Utility, Property, credit card, and all periodic billing
o Maintain Payroll/Salaries of Staff
o Coordinate and follow up with CA for ensuring Tax related matters are up to date and maintaining all statutory and tax related documents
Other Ad-hoc Duties:
o Updating and storing Company/Personal Database, Reports, Agreements, Correspondence, Office coordination and Filing of all personal and official documents.
o Coordinating work and Property Management related matters
o Prepare Daily To-do lists
o Logistics and Travel support/Hotel Bookings etc
o Scheduling and maintaining the Meetings calendar.
o Assisting Directors on business meetings and preparing notes during meetings (minutes of meetings), if required
o Assisting in business entertainment arrangements
o Pick up/drop of documentation, papers, files, etc.
o Attend and participate in the company events
o Assisting in printing, admin and other related work Participate in Day-to-day affairs of the company’s Directors
Qualifications and Skills:
Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and taxation (TDS, GST).
Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point and Word.
Proficiency in Tally Prime software for maintaining accounts.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Willingness to Travel out-of-office for meetings/Banks/as and when required
Willingness to learn
Minimum 2 years work experience after graduation
Candidate must be NCR based
