Accountant

Job Summary:

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles and software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally/ERP systems.

• Prepare and process invoices, bills, receipts, payments, and journal entries.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable.

• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other MIS reports.

• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, including TDS, GST, and filing of returns.

• Support the finance team during audits and annual closing.

• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments for payment and accounting-related queries.

• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.

• Sound understanding of accounting principles and taxation (TDS, GST, etc.).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with online tax filing portals (GST, TDS).

• Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.

• Experience working in a multi-entity or group company setup.
