Accountant

Job Summary

Unimax International is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, taxation, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions in Tally.

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.

• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.

• Manage GST filing, reconciliation, and compliance.

• Calculate and process TDS, ensuring timely filing and statutory compliance.

• Prepare invoices, vouchers, purchase entries, and sales entries.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

• Maintain records of expenses, payments, and receipts.

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities as required.

• Generate MIS reports and financial statements for management review.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.

• 2–5 years of experience in accounting and taxation.

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
