Job Description

Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant who has hands-on experience in Tally Prime and has worked with a manufacturing or trading company. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, statutory compliance, and financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily accounting entries in Tally Prime
Handling sales, purchase, expense & journal entries
Bank reconciliation and cash book maintenance
Managing accounts payable & receivable
Preparation of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and basic GST compliance
TDS calculation, entries, and return support
Maintaining ledger, balance sheet & P&L
Stock/Inventory accounting (especially for manufacturing/trading)
Coordination with CA for audits, returns, and compliance
Maintaining proper accounting records and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Graduation in Commerce (B.Com preferred)
Strong knowledge of Tally Prime
Working experience in manufacturing or trading company
Basic knowledge of GST, TDS & statutory compliance
Good understanding of accounting principles
MS Excel knowledge (basic to intermediate)
Attention to detail and accuracy

Experience Required:

Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an Accountant
Must have worked with manufacturing or trading company accounts

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Immediate joiner preferred
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently
