Accountant

Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial reporting and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions

• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer balances

• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns

• Assist in payroll processing and related statutory compliances

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documents

• Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgets

• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

• CA Inter / CMA Inter / relevant certification preferred

• 0-1 years of experience in accounting or finance (as applicable)

• Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance

• Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and coordination skills
