Job Title: Accountant (GST, Tally & Day Book)

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with hands-on experience in GST compliance, Tally accounting, and day book maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and update the day book regularly

• Handle Tally ERP entries including sales, purchase, receipts, payments, and journal vouchers

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, etc.)

• Ensure accurate GST reconciliation and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain purchase and sales registers

• Manage bank reconciliation statements (BRS)

• Assist in preparation of monthly and annual financial reports

• Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal teams

• Ensure compliance with GST and other statutory regulations

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP

• Good understanding of GST laws and compliance

• Experience in maintaining day book and ledger accounts

• Basic knowledge of Income Tax and TDS (preferred)

• Proficiency in MS Excel

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and time-management skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience in accounting for trading/manufacturing/service firms

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Ethical, reliable, and well-organized

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
