Financial Reporting & General Ledger:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Document Management & Workflow Automation:
Utilize Xerox software (e.g., DocuShare, Xerox Workflow Central) to digitize, index, and securely store financial records, invoices, and tax documents.
Maintain a highly organized, searchable digital archive to ensure seamless retrieval of documents during internal and external audits.
Leverage Xerox routing and automation tools to streamline the Accounts Payable approval process and minimize manual data entry.
Compliance & Tax Administration:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal corporate tax regulations.
Assist with the preparation and filing of local/state sales taxes and federal tax schedules (Form 1120, 1099s, etc.).
Coordinate with external CPAs and auditors, providing them with secure, streamlined access to digitized financial documentation.
Banking & Cash Management:
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all corporate accounts.
Monitor cash flow and track corporate credit card expenses and employee reimbursements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 2–5 years of professional accounting experience within a US corporate structure.
Certifications: CPA license or active pursuit of a CPA is a strong plus.
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of US GAAP rules and concepts.
Xerox Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Xerox enterprise content management (ECM) tools, specifically Xerox DocuShare or advanced Xerox scanning and routing workflows.
Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Sage, or SAP).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data modeling).
Familiarity with US payroll systems (e.g., Gusto, ADP) is preferred.
