Key Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial
records and ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
Transaction Oversight: Monitor accounts payable (AP) and
receivable (AR) transactions, journal entries, reconciliations, and
closing processes.
Reconciliation: Conduct account reconciliations to validate the
accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data, identify trends and
anomalies, and present actionable insights to the finance team.
Financial Reporting: Prepare timely financial statements, including
balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation and monitoring,
providing variance analysis and recommending corrective actions.
Tax Compliance: Support tax filings and ensure adherence to all
regulatory requirements.
Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors and internal stakeholders
during audits and compliance reviews.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process
enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in
financial operations.
Qualifications
Mandatory: Proficiency in QuickBooks or Zoho accounting software.
Mandatory: Previous experience at a Tier I accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best
practices.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
