Job Description: Accountant – TDS & GST Compliance

About the Role :-

We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage all aspects of TDS and GST compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate tax deductions, timely return filings, reconciliations, and compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)

Deduct and deposit TDS as per applicable sections (194C, 194J, 194H, etc.).

Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).

Generate and issue TDS certificates (Form 16, 16A) to vendors and employees.

Reconcile TDS data with Form 26AS and internal books of accounts.

Address notices and queries from the Income Tax Department.

- GST (Goods and Services Tax)

Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).

Reconcile GST input tax credit with GSTR-2B and purchase registers.

Prepare GST workings and data compilations for returns.

Track GST payments and maintain proper records of challans and filings.

Handle GST assessments, audits, and departmental communications.

Assist in preparing e-way bills and ensuring invoice compliance.

Work Details

🗓 Working Days: 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)

⏰ Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Compensation

💰 Salary will be commensurate with experience and industry standard

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with Freshers.
