Job Summary
Tatva Decors is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing sales and purchase billing, reconciling accounts, performing basic auditing activities, and ensuring proper accounting through Tally. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage sales invoices and purchase bills accurately and on time.
Record all financial transactions in Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
Verify purchase and sales entries with supporting documents.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
Perform routine account reconciliation and ensure books are updated regularly.
Conduct basic internal audits to verify financial accuracy and compliance.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Maintain GST-related records and support statutory compliance documentation.
Prepare financial reports, summaries, and management reports as required.
Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding billing and payment queries.
Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial documents and records.
Support external auditors and tax consultants by providing required financial information.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1–3 years of accounting experience (preferred).
Proficiency in Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
Basic understanding of GST, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience in billing and inventory-related accounting.
Knowledge of internal auditing procedures.
Familiarity with construction, interior design, or décor industry accounting is an advantage.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
