Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Real Estate Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, coordinating with builders and customers, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance related to property transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update Excel-based financial records related to real estate transactions.
Liaise with builders and their CRM teams regarding:
Demand letters and payment schedules.
TDS Payments and sharing of Form 16B with builders.
Coordinate the preparation and arrangement of key documentation such as:
TPA (Tripartite Agreement)
PTA (Property Transfer Agreement)
BBA (Builder Buyer Agreement)
Follow up with customers for payments, document collection, and agreement execution.
Track and manage all customer-related financial transactions.
Maintain a record of all company-related expenses and ensure proper documentation.
Assist in preparing reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and deadlines.
Collaborate with sales, legal, and CRM teams for smooth property handover processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate sector.
Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas, etc.).
Knowledge of TDS regulations and Form 16B handling.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders (builders, customers, internal teams).
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with real estate documentation and agreements.
Experience working with real estate CRMs or ERP systems.
Basic understanding of GST and other applicable real estate tax structures.
