About the Role
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant / Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and finance activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Tally and MS Excel and be comfortable handling routine accounting and documentation work.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial entries.
Handle purchase and sales entries, receipts, payments and journal entries.
Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities.
Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers and supporting documents.
Perform bank and ledger reconciliation.
Maintain records in Tally and ensure accuracy of accounting data.
Prepare basic reports and MIS using MS Excel.
Assist with GST-related documentation and routine compliance activities.
Coordinate with vendors/customers regarding invoices and payment-related queries.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Support the senior accounts team in day-to-day accounting activities.
Mandatory Skills
