Job Title: Junior Accountant

Reports To: Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our accounting team in day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate data entry, pre-audit preparations, transaction verifications, and assisting with various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely data entry of accounting transactions.

• Assist in preparation of documents for audits, ensuring all records are organized and audit-ready.

• Verify and record sales and purchase transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Check and validate stock and production reports, ensuring physical and system records match.

• Review and process general voucher entries to maintain accuracy in the books of accounts.

• Handle miscellaneous accounting tasks as assigned by the senior team, including reconciliations, reporting, and filing.

• Support the finance team with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.

• 0–2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and journal entry processes.

• Attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with audit procedures and documentation.

• Working knowledge of inventory and production-related accounting.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience from Textile Industries will given preference
