Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Maintain and verify ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
Prepare bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
Handle accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting.
Prepare MIS reports and other financial statements as required by management.
Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and coordinate with consultants when required.
Verify invoices and ensure proper accounting and documentation.
Monitor expenses and assist in maintaining proper financial controls.
Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, auditors, and internal departments.
Assist during internal and statutory audits by providing required records and documents.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Perform other accounting and finance-related activities assigned by management.
