Accountant

candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers.

• Prepare and file tax returns, support audits, and assist in regulatory reporting.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS (if applicable), and internal policies.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance as needed.

• Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards and systems.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies
