Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant cum Tally Operator (female) to manage day-to-day accounting tasks and assist with financial record keeping. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime, basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and should be comfortable handling billing, vouchers, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime

• Handle sales and purchase entries, invoicing, receipts, and payments

• Perform bank reconciliations, petty cash handling, and journal entries

• Prepare and maintain ledgers, accounts payable/receivable

• Assist in GST, TDS filing and compliance documentation

• Generate monthly reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow etc.)

• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records

• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors regarding financial queries

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably using Tally

• Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic accounting principles

• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance

• Good organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualities:

• Female candidates only (as per team requirement)

• Experience in a similar role in a small or mid-sized company

• Honest, punctual, and committed to deadlines
