Accountant

Job Title: Hospital Accountant
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Sector 100, Gurgaon
Reporting To: Finance Manager / Hospital Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and journals.

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including billing, cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.

• Process payments to vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely disbursements.

• Prepare and monitor hospital budgets and forecasts.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements like TDS, GST, PF, ESI, and professional tax.

• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

• Manage payroll coordination with the HR department.

• Maintain inventory and asset registers in coordination with the procurement and stores team.

• Oversee billing reconciliation between departments (OPD/IPD/Diagnostics/Pharmacy).

• Implement and monitor internal financial controls and processes.

• Provide financial insights and MIS reports to management for decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

• CA Inter/ICWA/MBA (Finance) preferred but not mandatory.

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience (hospital or healthcare industry experience preferred).

• Working knowledge of hospital billing systems and accounting software

Key Skills:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Problem-solving attitude and ethical approach to financial management.
