Job Description

  1. Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely posting of financial transactions in the Tally.
  2. Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports.
  3. Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including invoicing, vendor bills, collections, ledger reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
  4. Process and verify payment, receipt, journal, and contra vouchers with appropriate supporting documentation.
  5. Verify invoices against purchase orders, GRNs, approvals, and other supporting documents.
  6. Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve unreconciled transactions.
  7. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, accounting standards, and other applicable statutory requirements.
  8. Support statutory, tax, internal, and financial audits by providing accurate records and documentation.
  9. Process vendor payments and statutory dues within approved timelines to avoid penalties and interest.
  10. Assist with month-end and year-end closing, budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  11. Generate periodic reports on receivables, payables, expenses, cash flow, and other financial information.
  12. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, SOPs, and automation.
