Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to support our accounting and compliance functions. The intern will assist in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal controls while gaining hands-on experience in various accounting processes.Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Compliance:
Assist in preparing Daily & Monthly MIS reports.
Ensure timely submission of statutory details as required.
Support compliance activities related to taxation and other financial regulations.
Assist in implementing internal controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.
Review existing accounting systems and processes, identify gaps, and coordinate with relevant departments for system improvements.
Contribute to business process improvement and service delivery enhancement.
Financial Reporting & Audits:
Assist in trial balance scrutiny and preparation for account closures and finalization.
Respond to various audit queries and provide necessary documentation.
Maintain financial records and documentation in an organized manner.
General Accounting & Administrative Tasks:
Coordinate with other departments to collect and verify financial data.
Support administrative tasks related to finance and accounting as needed.
Foster a culture of ownership and agility in financial processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
