Job Description

A fresher accountant (Junior Accountant) supports the finance team by managing day-to-day transactions, maintaining accurate ledger records, assisting with month-end closing, and processing invoices. Key responsibilities include bank reconciliations, data entry, basic tax preparation (GST/TDS), and preparing financial reports. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry & Maintenance: Recording daily financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Processing invoices, expense reports, and managing supplier/client payments.
Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies in accounts.
Financial Reporting: Assisting with the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and trial balances.
