Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Fresher to join our Accounts & Finance team. The candidate will assist in day-to-day accounting activities, GST-related work, invoice management, payment entries, and maintaining financial records.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and entries.

• Record purchase and sales invoices in accounting software.

• Verify invoices, GSTIN, invoice numbers, dates, taxable amounts, and GST amounts.

• Assist in GSTR-2B reconciliation and GST-related documentation.

• Maintain purchase and sales registers.

• Assist with bank reconciliation and payment entries.

• Prepare and maintain bills, vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.

• Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices and outstanding payments.

• Assist in TDS-related accounting and documentation.

• Maintain proper filing of financial and accounting records.

• Assist senior accountants in monthly closing and reporting activities.

• Support audit requirements and provide necessary documents.

• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks assigned by management.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.

• Familiarity with MS Excel.

• Knowledge of Tally/ERP software will be an advantage.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Willingness to learn and take responsibility.

• Good numerical and analytical skills.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) / equivalent qualification

Preferred Candidate

• Freshers are welcome to apply.

• Candidates with basic knowledge of Tally, GST, Excel, and accounting will be preferred.

Salary

As per company standards and candidate's skills/knowledge.
