Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our retail shop. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for recording sales invoices, maintaining day books, and ensuring accurate daily bookkeeping. You will conduct regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records and manage our inventory, ensuring that stock records are always up to date. Your duties will also include barcode printing for new inventory items and generating comprehensive financial and inventory reports. Additionally, you will perform GST reconciliation to ensure full compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in accounting or a similar role, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel is essential, and experience in retail accounting and inventory management is an advantage.
